The Harrop Lodge is our 20 bed indoor sleeping accommodation located at the camp centre. To the rear of the lodge is a small camping pitch which is included in the rental. The lodge is located near the toilet/shower block, shop and Warden’s Building.
The lodge can also be booked alongside the Blanshard Cabin as additional indoor sleeping accommodation, to provide 29 beds in total.

The main hall is the hub of the lodge for dining and indoor activities. It is equipped with dining tables and chairs to seat 40 people.
The kitchen comes suited to everyone’s catering needs. There is a large commercial style cooker equipped with six rings, large sink, two fridge-freezers, instant water boiler, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery for 40 people.
There are four bunk rooms in the lodge on a corridor off the main hall. There are two large bunk rooms that both sleep eight people and a further two smaller bunk rooms that both sleep two people.
The lodge comes with an accessible single toilet.
The main toilet and shower block (with separate areas for girls, boys, adult males and adult females) is around 15 metres from the side door of the lodge.
Weekend arrivals are from 5pm on a Friday evening and departure should be no later than 4pm on Sunday, the site will close by 5pm at the latest.
Weekend bookings of the Harrop Lodge are for a minimum of 2 nights.
The overnight cost includes camping fees for up to 20 people (as per the number of beds). Any additional visitors overnight will be charged camping fees at the normal rate.
Hire of the Harrop Lodge for daytime or evening use is only available Monday to Thursday.
The cost for daytime or evening use is subject to normal visitors fees in addition to the stated price.
Any damage will be charged.
